Make it Social, whose technology enables people to book as a group but pay individually, is entering a partnership with Ticketmaster, the global market leader in live event ticketing. Ticketmaster is the world’s largest ticketing company with 12,000 clients across 28 countries.
The agreement will extend Make it Social’s reach to Ticketmaster’s platforms in the UK, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. The international integration of the Scottish company’s solution to social booking marks a major milestone for Make it Social. The company is effectively making use of Ticketmaster’s open ticketing platform, leveraging Ticketmaster’s robust set of APIs to provide value added services to venues, sports clubs, promoters and fans.
Eddie Robb, founder and CEO of Make it Social, said: “Working with Ticketmaster is a fantastic opportunity. Our software takes the headache out of group booking and makes meeting up in real life easier. Now many more people will benefit.”
